Our Mission:

Empowering Teachers, Enriching Education

The Wayland Public Schools Foundation (WPSF) is a volunteer-powered nonprofit on a mission to take Wayland Public Schools to the next level, beyond what traditional funding makes possible. Partnering with district educators, it awards grants to initiatives that invigorate the curriculum, creatively engage students and improve the atmosphere for learning, and provide exceptional professional development.

What We Do

Every year, Wayland teachers submit grant requests geared toward enriching the core curriculum, providing new technology and cutting-edge programs that would otherwise go unfunded. Continual innovation is a hallmark of educational excellence in Wayland. Your annual donations give life to our teachers' progressive ideas -- approaches that will engage K-12 students in exciting new ways and solidly prepare them for what lies ahead. Because many of these innovations are long lasting, today's elementary students will benefit fully as they reach middle school and high school.
