2024-2025 Application Process

The Wayland Public Schools Foundation (WPSF) provides teachers and administrators with the resources to dream of new ways to teach and engage students. Take this opportunity to think out of the box or reproduce what works in other classrooms or schools. Our goal is to support your creativity and enrich the educational experience of all Wayland students.

  • The WPSF provides teachers and administrators with the critical funds needed to support new and innovative methods of teaching students. Awards will be considered for ideas that support the WPSF mission and make immediate advances in academics, the arts, curriculum- based athletics, student enrichment, social and emotional learning and staff professional development.

How to Apply for a grant

1. Download and read the Grant Guidelines (Coming soon). Make sure your idea fits our funding criteria and you have all the tips you need before starting your online application.

2. Complete the Grant Application online form on your laptop, tablet, or your phone.

3. Make sure to obtain required signatures on the online form or the Word doc.

4. Submit your application to your Principal DATE TBD.

5. For all technology purchases, please apply with an Instructional Technology Specialist who will help you specify solutions and obtain pricing. This is required of any request for computer hardware, software, licenses/subscriptions, printers, projection and sound systems, interactive whiteboards/response systems, document cameras, tablets, e-readers and other classroom technologies.

  • Apply online here. Complete all required fields, remembering to attach any additional important information and documentation.

  • Prior to clicking ‘Submit’ collect all required authorization signatures from co-authors, department heads and principals. As indicated on the online application, applicants are asked to include all applicable signature authorizations on their application. You can send the grant application electronically to those whose signatures you require by saving your application and getting an email link that you can forward for signature collection.

  • Yes, you can! You can begin working on your application and save your work and come back to it later. You can also save your work and send to a colleague for input. Click the 'Save' button to have a link emailed to you so that you may return to your application at a later time or forward the link to a co-author.

  • Click the 'Submit' button on the final page to send the application to WPSF; Once submitted, you will receive an acknowledgment email from the WPSF.

  • Yes, you can! While we prefer you don’t submit until your application is complete, we understand changes do occur. To make changes after submission, you will need to email us at
